Shark Tank is a TV reality show in which entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to business tycoons so that they can get funds to scale the idea.
This show is based on Dragon’s Den which originated in Japan in 2001. Shark Tank is a purely American TV reality show in an international format. In India shows premiere on sonyliv every year.
There are five to six panelists of business personalities to listen to the entrepreneur’s pitch. And decide to invest in the business after the analysis by taking some stake in the company.
Some entrepreneurs say that sometimes the cheque received during the show is taken back. Because entrepreneurs reveal some important things about business after the show. Another reason is business tycoons cancel some old deals because they get a better deal from them.
